Our first annual reading tutoring program was a big success. We had 6 students, ranging from 1st to 3rd graders. Each one made gains and everyone enjoyed the time together. We are so excited to continue this FREE program for many years to come. Thank you to Dickson County schools for their support in getting the word out to our local families. Thank you to Thrivent for their support in being able to purchase materials to use and care packages for the kids to continue strengthening the skills addressed in tutoring. Each student was sent home with a stuffed animal, reading Buddy to read to as well. We could not have done any of it without the wonderful volunteers who helped. Thank you!
